Author of the best-seller The World Peace Diet, Dr. Will Tuttle gave an inspiring talk about our culture’s food system. We explored new connections and discovered how to build radiant health on all 5 levels, awaken awareness, and bring healing to our world, with Will’s piano improvisations and his wife Madeleine’s evocative art deepening the experience.
We also enjoyed free refreshments after the presentation.
After their visit to South Bend, Will and Madeleine Tuttle traveled to South Asia and Taiwan. Watch highlights of this tour on video.
VegFests are community festivals that celebrate plant-based, healthy, ethical and sustainable living. Our VegFest welcomes everyone, from visitors to local businesses, and promotes plant-based resources that can be found right here in Michiana. Click here to read more about Michiana VegFest.
We enjoyed delicious food from local restaurants and businesses. In 2019 we screened three films on the three Sundays before VegFest. We heard dynamic speakers on health, ethical and environmental topics. We were inspired to cook plant-based foods by attending chef cooking demonstrations. Visitors brought their children to enjoy activities at the Kids’ Corner. We also witnessed a poetry slam with energetic young people. Finally, at 4 pm we enjoyed fabulous music with a special free performance by The Bergamot Duo!
